About the Patient Participation Group
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a team of volunteer patients who work with the practice to improve services and ensure patient views are heard.
Aim of the Group
The group meets regularly with the Practice Manager and a GP Partner to explore and share ideas to enhance patient care and experience.
Achievements
By working together in a constructive and supportive way, over the last few years, we have:
- Increased the number of staff members on the switchboard at the busiest times
- Discussed and improved the appointment system
- Online repeat prescription ordering
- Assisted in the development of the Practice Booklet
- Organised Self-care promotions
- Assisted with Patient Surveys
